FAQs

  • An Initial Assessment is mandatory if you are a beginner, have a pre-existing injury, pregnant, managing any health condition or post natal. In our assessments we go through a reformer orientation, pelvic positions and pelvic control and assist you in finding the right classes. If you have had previous reformer experience but feel like you need to be re-educated about proper form please book in for an Assessment.

  • All pregnant clients (existing and new) need to undertake an Initial Assessment prior to attending any classes within the any.BODY Studio space. 0 – 15 Weeks During this stage of your pregnancy you can attend our Group Reformer Classes. We do however look at each person as an individual and may advise you that it would be best for you to not participate in these classes. Your Women’s Health Accredited Exercise Physiologist will support you through this process. There are exercises that are contraindicated during this phase of your pregnancy however we will be able to modify in our group classes. 16 Weeks – End of Pregnancy It is at this point we will review your status and then move you into our Women’s Health Specific classes. Our Women’s Health Specific classes will give you a chance to focus more holistically on exercises that will support you through the later stages of pregnancy. We are here to support you throughout your pregnancy. We will aim to provide you with much more than just an exercise session. There are many tools that we aim to teach you that can assist you throughout your pregnancy, labour and through your post natal phase.

  • As Accredited Exercise Physiologists we can get you moving safely again 6 - 10 weeks after birth (dependent on birth). Please get clearance from your obstetrician prior to resuming with an exercise routine and ensure you book in for an assessment. We will work with you to get you strong to exercise safely in a group setting.

  • f you have a chronic injury you can get a referral from your GP to assist in managing the condition. You however do not need a referral to see an Exercise Physiologist within the studio. We are able to assist and create a program to help you manage your condition regardless.

  • We have a variety of payment options available. Memberships are an economical way to participate in regular Pilates, however packages are flexible and requires minimum commitment. We will work with you to find the most economical option to ensure you can participate consistently.

  • here is parking available in the Douglas Street Design Centre Courtyard. The studio is located behind Hemish Bleu cafe. There is parking available out the front of the studio.
