A calm, evidence-based return to movement — built around your recovery, your nervous system, and real postpartum life. Start with an assessment, then we’ll guide you into the right pathway (Mums + Bubs Reformer, 1:1 EP, or a supported combination).

Private health rebates may apply for Exercise Physiology consults (depending on your cover).

Postnatal movement support at any.BODY Studio

Postpartum isn’t “bounce back” — it’s rebuild

Your body has done something huge. Now it’s adapting: tissues, pressure systems, sleep, feeding demands, and nervous system load. Our role is to help you rebuild capacity in a way that feels safe and sustainable — without pushing through symptoms or guessing.

Core + pressure strategy

Breathing, abdominal wall function, and pressure management — the foundations behind safe loading.

Pelvic floor confidence

We screen symptoms and teach practical strategies so strength supports recovery (not aggravation).

Real-life progression

Programs that work with sleep disruption, feeding, and fluctuating energy — so you can actually be consistent.

Choose your postnatal pathway

You don’t need to know what you “should” do.
Start with an assessment — we’ll help you choose the right entry point based on symptoms, confidence, and goals.

Pathway A: Mums + Bubs Reformer Pilates

For mums who want a supported group return to movement — with bub nearby, and a coach who understands postnatal mechanics.

  • Small, bub-friendly group environment
  • Core + pelvic floor foundations built into every session
  • Progressive strength with modifications for your stage of recovery

Assessments are required before joining Mums + Bubs.

Pathway B: 1:1 Exercise Physiology (Women’s Health)

Ideal if you’ve had a more complex birth/recovery, feel unsure, or have symptoms that need an individualised plan before group classes.

  • 60-min initial consult with a Women’s Health AEP
  • Deeper assessment + personalised plan
  • Option to transition into Mums + Bubs when you’re ready

Perfect for birth trauma, ongoing pain, prolapse concerns, or higher-impact return-to-running goals.

Start here: your postnatal assessment options

Postnatal Screening — 30 min | $90

Best for mums who are tracking well postpartum and want clearance + guidance to join Mums + Bubs safely.

  • Pregnancy + birth history check
  • Pelvic floor symptom screen (leakage, heaviness, pain, urgency)
  • Core / abdominal wall screen (including diastasis recti)
  • Breathing + pressure strategies for exercise
  • Clear guidance for safe class participation

If we identify anything that needs extra support, we’ll recommend stepping into a 1:1 EP consult first.

Exercise Physiology Initial Consultation — 60 min | $145

Recommended if you want a more individualised plan or you’re navigating symptoms, anxiety, or a tougher recovery.

This is the best fit if you’ve had:

  • Birth trauma or complicated recovery (including emergency caesarean or complications)
  • 3rd/4th degree tearing, forceps or vacuum delivery
  • Persistent pelvic girdle, pelvic floor, hip, back, or abdominal pain
  • Pelvic floor symptoms (leakage, heaviness, dragging, bulging, urgency)
  • Concerns about prolapse or returning to running / higher impact exercise
  • Significant diastasis recti, doming/coning, or abdominal wall weakness
  • Previous abdominal/pelvic surgery, hernias, or complex medical history
  • Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or “not safe” in your body yet (we’ll go gently)

This option includes more time, deeper assessment, and individualised planning.

What we can help with

Common goals How we approach it
Return to strength safely Rebuild capacity through progressive loading, with pressure + pelvic floor strategies guiding the plan.
Diastasis recti / “doming” Abdominal wall function + breath/pressure mechanics first, then strength progressions that don’t flare symptoms.
Pelvic floor symptoms (leakage/heaviness/pain) Screening + education + modifications. We work alongside your wider care team when needed.
Pelvic girdle / back / hip pain Identify movement + load strategies driving symptoms, then rebuild strength in the patterns you need day-to-day.
Confidence returning to impact / running Foundations → strength → graded exposure to impact. No rushing, no “just try it and see.”

If you’re unsure where you fit, book the EP consult — it gives us time to map a clear plan (and keep you feeling safe).

FAQ

How soon postpartum can I start?

It depends on your birth, symptoms, and how you’re tracking. If you’re unsure, book the EP initial consult so we can guide the safest starting point.

Can I bring my baby to my assessment?

Yes — bubs are welcome at both your postnatal screening and Exercise Physiology consultation. We plan for real life.

Do you have a change table and somewhere to feed?

Yes. We have a changing table available, plus a comfortable area where you can feed and take a moment if you need.

What if my baby cries during class?

Babies cry — it’s normal, and you won’t be “that person” here. You’re welcome to pause, settle bub, and rejoin when you’re ready.

Do you have parking and can I bring a pram?

Yes — we have client parking available and prams are welcome. If you’d like the easiest arrival option, just ask our team.
