YOUR GUIDE TO MOVEMENT AT any.BODY
Which any.BODY Class Is Right for You? Your Guide to Finding the Right Fit
With so many different ways to move, knowing where to start can sometimes feel a little overwhelming.
Should you try Reformer Pilates? Would strength training be better suited to your goals? What's the difference between a Clinical Pilates class and a regular Reformer class? And do you need to be experienced, strong or flexible before joining?
At any.BODY Pilates & Exercise Physiology, we believe movement isn't one-size-fits-all.
The right class for you depends on more than your fitness level. Your goals, movement experience, preferences, confidence and the type of support you're looking for all play a part.
That's why we offer a range of Reformer Pilates, Clinical Exercise and Strength classes, with different approaches to movement and different levels of individualisation.
Here's a guide to help you explore your options.
YOUR STARTING POINT
You don't need to choose alone.
Our class guide helps you explore what's available, but you don't need to know which class is right for you before you begin. We take time to understand your goals, experience, preferences and support needs, then help you find the right fit.

Pregnancy, body size & finding your fit.
Pregnant? You're welcome here.
All our class types can accommodate pregnancy. Our Reformer and Strength classes can be modified throughout the different stages of pregnancy, based on your changing needs and how you're feeling.
For more individualised support, our Clinical classes are tailored to you — whether that's pregnancy-related pain, symptoms, birth preparation or building confidence with movement.
Some pregnancy-related conditions call for extra assessment or adjustments. Our team can help you choose the right level of support.
All bodies belong.
Every any.BODY class is size-inclusive. You are welcome in our Reformer, Strength and Clinical classes, with movement options adapted to individual comfort and needs.
Our BOLD Reformer classes are specifically tailored for people in bigger bodies, offering an environment alongside others in bigger bodies where comfort, accessibility and shared experience are central.

Looking for Reformer Pilates?
Our Reformer Pilates classes offer different movement experiences, from slower, more mindful sessions to dynamic and strength-focused classes.
You don't necessarily need to be flexible, experienced or particularly fit to enjoy Reformer Pilates. It's about finding the class and approach that works for you.

Mindful Reformer
For those who enjoy a considered, controlled approach to movement.
Mindful Reformer focuses on intentional movement, control and body awareness. With a more measured pace, there's an opportunity to explore technique, coordination and how your body moves.
It may appeal to you if you enjoy taking your time with movement, developing body awareness or prefer a less dynamic class experience.
Dynamic Reformer
For those who enjoy a more energetic and flowing Pilates experience.
Dynamic Reformer offers a more continuous, energetic approach to Pilates, combining movements into a flowing class experience.
It may appeal to you if you enjoy variety, coordination and a more dynamic pace.
Stretch & Flow Reformer
For those wanting to slow down, explore mobility and create space to unwind.
Stretch & Flow is our low-sensory Reformer class, with a focus on mobility, stretching and supporting nervous system downregulation.
Rather than focusing on intensity, this class provides an opportunity to explore slower movement, body awareness and relaxation.
It may appeal to you if you're looking for a gentler movement experience, enjoy stretching or want to incorporate a slower-paced class into your week.
Strength Reformer
For those wanting to build strength through Reformer Pilates.
Strength Reformer places a greater emphasis on resistance and muscular strength, using the Reformer to create a challenging, strength-focused movement experience.
It may appeal to you if you enjoy Pilates but want a greater emphasis on strength development.

BOLD Reformer
A size-inclusive approach to Reformer Pilates.
While all any.BODY classes are size-inclusive, BOLD is specifically tailored for people in bigger bodies, in a supportive class environment alongside others in bigger bodies.
With consideration for comfort, accessibility and individual movement preferences, adaptations are a natural part of the experience.
You don't need to change your body to belong in a movement space.
Looking for a more individualised approach?
Sometimes what you're looking for isn't necessarily a particular style of exercise, but a different level of support and personalisation.
Our Clinical classes have a maximum of three participants, allowing for individually tailored exercise within a small-group environment.
And importantly, you don't need to have an injury, diagnosis or complex health condition to benefit from Clinical classes.
You might simply prefer a more personalised approach to movement.
Clinical Pilates (1:3)
For those wanting individualised Pilates-based exercise.
Clinical Pilates combines Pilates-based movement with individualised programming guided by your goals, needs and movement capacity.
Rather than everyone completing the same class, each participant works through their own tailored exercise program with guidance from an Exercise Physiologist.
It may appeal to you if you're managing pain or an injury, navigating a health condition, building confidence with movement or simply enjoy a more personalised experience.
Clinical Strength (1:3)
For those wanting tailored strength training in a small-group environment.
Clinical Strength provides individualised strength programming, with a maximum of three participants.
Your exercises are selected and progressed according to your goals, abilities and needs.
And while these classes take place in our Pilates studio rather than our gym, we have weights and strength-training equipment available.
So if you want to lift weights but prefer a smaller group and individualised programming, Clinical Strength could be a great fit.
It's not just for rehabilitation. It's also for people who want to get stronger with more personalised guidance.
Want to build strength?
Strength training can support so many different goals, from improving everyday function and maintaining muscle mass to supporting sporting performance and long-term health.
At any.BODY, we offer several ways to build strength, depending on your goals and the environment you prefer.
Strength Performance (1:6)
For those who enjoy structured, progressive strength training.
Strength Performance is our small-group gym-based strength class, with a maximum of six participants.
Rather than following an entirely individualised program, participants work through our structured strength-training blocks, with guidance and exercise modifications from our Exercise Physiologists.
It's a great option if you enjoy lifting weights, want consistency with your strength training and like following a progressive program in a supportive group environment.
Clinical Strength or Strength Performance?
Both can help you build strength.
The main difference is how the exercise is programmed.
Clinical Strength offers individualised programming in a group of up to three, while Strength Performance follows structured group strength blocks with up to six participants.
Neither is necessarily better. It's about which approach suits your goals and preferences.
Osteo Strong
Strength, stability and balance for adults over 60.
Osteo Strong focuses on functional strength training, stability and balance, with an emphasis on safety and improving quality of life.
The aim is to build physical capacity and confidence for everyday movement, whether that's getting up from the floor, navigating stairs, carrying groceries or maintaining independence.
It's about building strength that supports the things you want and need to do in everyday life.
Run x Strength
For runners, aspiring runners and anyone wanting to build strength to support running.
Running doesn't always start with running.
Sometimes it starts with developing the strength, control and capacity to support the demands of running.
Run x Strength is a strength-focused class designed to help you build consistency with strength training, whether you're already running regularly or interested in getting started.
The class focuses primarily on strength training, with approximately 10 minutes of running at the end.
It's a great way to develop a strength-training routine that complements your running goals, without needing to be an experienced runner to participate.
Want to move with your baby nearby?
Mums & Bubs Reformer
A baby-friendly Reformer Pilates class.
Finding time for movement with a baby can be challenging, which is why our Mums & Bubs classes are designed to allow you to move with your baby nearby.
We have space for babies on mats beside the Reformers, so you can keep them close while participating in class.
Parents remain responsible for tending to their baby's needs, and there's room to pause, settle or attend to your baby throughout the session.
It's an opportunity to enjoy movement without needing to arrange childcare.

These are starting points, not rules.
You might enjoy several different classes for different reasons, and your preferences may change over time.
Can you attend more than one type of class?
Absolutely.
Different movement experiences can complement each other.
You might enjoy Dynamic Reformer alongside strength training, or combine Strength Performance with Stretch & Flow.
Perhaps you attend Clinical Pilates for individualised support while also enjoying a group Reformer class.
There isn't one perfect combination that works for everyone.
What matters is finding a movement routine that supports your goals, fits into your life and is something you genuinely enjoy.
Not sure where to start? That's what we're here for.
At any.BODY, we don't expect you to know exactly which class is right for you before you walk through our doors.
We take the time to understand you as an individual.
For Clinical, Strength and pregnancy-related exercise, we begin with an initial consultation. For group Reformer Pilates, including BOLD, our $159 introductory offer includes an initial assessment and four classes.
These appointments give us an opportunity to understand your goals, movement history, confidence, preferences and any health or physical considerations that might influence your experience.
From there, we can help you identify which classes might suit you, how to get started and how your movement routine could evolve over time.
Because choosing the right class isn't about fitting yourself into a particular category.
It's about finding movement that works for you.
