At any.BODY Pilates & Exercise Physiology we understand women's health issues and we love to help and develop interventions that will help you manage your current condition. we understand that you may have specific needs and know how to cater to these needs. 

Endometrioses and Exercise

Despite there being no cure, we can help you manage your endometriosis, specifically with exercise intervention! Through completing exercise that is guided by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist we will aim to maintain your activity levels through these cycles of pain & flare ups, increase your exercise tolerance and manage your experienced symptoms. 

A recent study showed that those who completed a general exercise program for 8 weeks had a significant decrease in severity of pain and improved posture. So, you can imagine the success of a personalised program paired with consistent exercise!

PCOS and Exercise

Polycystic ovary syndrome comes with a wide range of symptoms that will vary from person-to-person. Given this is a hormonal condition, some days will feel better than others, so exercising consistently can be tough.

We as Women’s Health Exercise Physiologists, want to assist you in introducing regular exercise into your life that factors in your symptoms, goals and activity interests. During your initial assessment we will take the time to understand your diagnosis and how it affects you in your everyday life. We will also discuss other medical conditions and/or injuries that you have so that we can ensure we are taking a holistic approach when tailoring your exercise program.

Through specialised Pilates repertoire we can modify every exercise or stretch so that you can move your body in a comfortable way and at an intensity level that suits your energy levels on that day.
