Class Types

If you are a beginner to reformer pilates you might need a short orientation prior to your first class. Please don't hesitate to contact Elle directly prior to your first class if you feel like I might require hands on attention. With only 6 Reformers at any.BODY Studio Elle ensures that beginners are looked after, educated providing various levels and modifications to challenge beginners through to advanced.

Group Reformer Class | Glute & Core Reformer | Core Reformer | Power Hour Reformer 

These are open level classes that keeps a great flow and are suitable for all levels.  More seamlessly from intense strength exercises to dynamic movements that stretch your body. You’ll feel lengthened and toned from head to toe.

Group Reformer Classes (45 mins) - Ideal for those wanting a full body workout with the balance of fluid stretch sequences throughout the class.

Low Impact Reformer Class (45 mins) - Slow class focusing on traditional pilates exercises. Ideal for the older population. A whole body workout and stretches to free up any tight joints. 

Glute & Core Reformer (45mins) - Focusing solely on glute activation, glute strength, dynamic hip movements and isolated core work. Suitable for all levels. Note: If you have a lower body injury please advise Elle or your instructor before class. 

Core Reformer (30mins) - Core activation, dynamic core work and isolated core work. A fast pace class that will leave you feeling toned and strong through your core. 

Power Hour Reformer (60 mins) - Ideal for those wanting a full body workout. Exercises go for a bit longer and there is more time to focus on stretches and breathing towards the end of the class. Still suitable for beginners but not the best option for your first class.

Jumpboard (45mins) 

Be ready to feel the heat in this full body workout! Be ready to challenge your endurance, strength and stability. Remember you can only find power in your Pilates practice if you also know how to find the calm, so make sure you have worked your way up to this class.

The jump board is an amazing add on to the Reformer that allows you to get the sensation of jumping whilst lying down or kneeling. 

NOT SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS.

Stretch & Flow Reformer (45mins) 

A very different style of reformer pilates class. Utilising the reformers to assist us to hold long stretch holds. Lengthening your muscles whilst focusing on alignment, using your core to hold your spine strong and lengthening through muscles required to assist with injury prevention and managing chronic aches and pains. 

Stretch, Roll & Trigger (30mins) 

Learn how to use the foam roller, trigger balls and stretches to work deeper into myofascial release. Releasing tension through your neck, shoulders & hips can assist in progressing your reformer pilates workout.
