Have you heard that it might be good for you your bones and your lower back pain but not quite found a place to try it? at any.BODY Pilates & Exercise Physiology there are small group reformer classes that are low impact and perfect for over 50's with a few things to consider when trialing an exercise modality.
The phrase ‘exercise is medicine‘ is becoming increasingly recognised as a fundamental form of treatment for various lifestyle related diseases and aches and pains – Due to increasing research the government has incorporated Exercise Physiology under Medicare’s allied health scheme along with most Health Fund recognizing it providing their clients with rebates. This has given medical practitioners the capacity to refer patients with chronic and complex illness such as chronic lower back pain, arthritis, osteoporosis, chronic shoulder and or neck pain to Exercise Physiologists for guided exercise therapy which is sustainable for the long term.
any.BODY Pilates & Exercise Physiology now has 3 Classes scheduled specifically for over 50's where you can come into a safe environment and try Reformer Pilates for the very first time! Now on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:00am Elle will ensure you are in safe hands and provide you with low impact strengthening exercises and some simple stretches to assist with whatever your body needs.
